Made in Chelsea, Series 7 Finale Review

So you may have noticed a missing review in this constant cycle of Chelsea gossip. Well this would be correct. Due to my absence of blogging last week, I thought I would tie these 2 episodes together and give a brief run-down of what happened last week followed by all the gossip of this year’s season finale.

So last week we saw Jamie completely ruin his chances with Riley after being incapable to letting go of his feelings for Lucy. Surely he should’ve learned to keep his mouth shut now but obviously this was not the case. Confessing his crush on Riley followed by confessing his undying love for Lucy is only going to end up in drama. Louise and Fran both battle it out for that all important date with the fresh-faced Fordy. Louise ends up on top (not literally- yet) and bags herself a dinner date/competition. Judging by Louise’s previous cooking disasters, we can already see this being entertaining!

In other news, Binky continues to cry about Alex whilst continually losing her friends in the process. The girls repeatedly talk about the Binky and Alex situation and come to the conclusion that they just have to let them get on with it. Binky, for one, doesn’t seem too fussed about this as she takes an overly flamboyant trip to Longleat with Mark Francis, Victoria and her sidekick Sophie. How divine!

*****

And finally it’s reached an end. Series 7, check.

We kicked off this week with the ‘Bois’ enjoying the rugby at Twickers, dressed in slightly unusual fancy dress. Spencer in some kind of snowball looking outfit and Stevie as a crocodile. And with the absence of Francis Boulle this series, Andy took to the game of skateboarding, tearing up the streets of Chelsea. With the enthusiasm of an excitable 5 year old, he bumps into Louise who takes pride in showing him her lobster (no innuendo) which she has just picked up for her cooking competition with hot date, Fordy.

Former business buddies, Lucy and Riley, meet to discuss their plan to sabotage Jamie at last week’s party. Riley proved she is the new queen of the ‘bitch walk’ and they both disapprove of Jamie’s indecency to grant an apology. Throughout the episode we continue to refer back to Cheska who takes pleasure in telling everyone how Binky has mistreated her as a supposed best friend. For someone that is supposedly over their friendship, she is doing a very good job of showing otherwise.

And so to Binky, who appears to be sat in an empty hair salon, promptly followed by Alex. “You’ve turned me into a miserable, paranoid wreck,” she tells him. “If you’re happiness means me walking away then you have to just tell me,” he replies. COME ON BINKY. EVERYONE IS BEHIND YOU. JUST WALK AWAY.

Louise and Fordy’s date has finally arrived and we can always rely on Sam to get in the way and be overly awkward and cringey. “Banging” is the how he describes their cooking skills. Oh Sam, just leave and stop cock-blocking. It takes her until the very end to confess that she didn’t actually cook the meal herself. She bought the food from a restaurant and served it on her own plates. Cheat!

Lucy and Jamie meet at Stephanie’s leaving party which prompts another round of drama and tears. Jamie informs Lucy that they cannot be friends and they cannot talk to one another as he will never be able to get over her otherwise. Bit harsh. She hits back that his is being “really mean.” He leaves, she cries. Emosh.

It’s even more emotional when Stevie and Stephanie have to say goodbye to each other. It would appear that they have both caught feelings after just the short amount of time they have spent together. Aww Stevie, he must be a great guy.

Mummy Felstead visits Binky for, what she thinks, will be some Mummy loving and excessive cuddles. WRONG. This evening quickly takes a turn for the worse when she accuses her Mum of just being another strong opinion that hasn’t supported her through her troublesome times. Oh Binks, come on. Surely you can’t blame your Mum for Alex’s cheating/orgy antics?!

We finally turn to a stately mansion for the final part of the series. Andy has arranged for out favourite poshos to take a trip to the country and enjoy a short break at what looks to be somewhere that even the Queen wouldn’t be able to afford. This calls for drama after drama (as expected). Riley and Stevie take a walk and rekindle their friendship whilst slagging off Jamie. Jamie’s feeble attempt at a prompted apology is thrown back in his face by Riley and Louise finally bags her kiss with Fordy. YAY!

The moment we've all been waiting for
The moment we’ve all been waiting for

Spenny and Alex have a solemn chat about the possibility of breaking things off with Binky, Jamie admits he spent the night with Lucy and Riley has an awkward breakfast with Lucy after she proposes that maybe she has been leading Jamie on. Uh oh. Spencer and Jamie dream of their trip to New York and about all of the English traits they are going to take with them, such as a cricket bat and a Ralph Lauren polo top. But then all hell breaks loose when Binky and Alex re-enter the scene. Binky approaches Spencer about his solemn chat with Alex and hauls into the limelight Spencer’s morals. Spenny reckons that the rumours of cheating will continue to unfold until Alex addresses the group as a whole… No time like the present!

Romeo and Juliet anyone?
Romeo and Juliet anyone?

In a courtyard with a strange resemblance to a Romeo and Juliet scene, Binky and Alex beg their friends to let them be happy. This sparks fiery responses and one huge shouting match. The distressed couple walk off into the night, never to be seen again until next series. What a finish!

You poshos look after yourselves. We’ll see you in New York!

Made in Chelsea, Series 7 Episode 8 Review

It’s that time of the week again where we recap last night’s antics of our favourite Londoners – and after last week, I think there a considerable number of questions that need to be answered!

The episode opens with our two orgy culprits as they coincidently (and awkwardly) bump into each other on the street. Alex makes it clear to Spenny that he is royally ‘cheesed off’ with the way in which this HUGE revelation has unveiled as it was discussed amongst the two of them that this would definitely be kept on the DL (down-low for those who are socially inadequate).

Our infamous orgy culprits
Our infamous orgy culprits

Meanwhile, the girls gather around Binky’s house to discuss the latest on the infamous cheating scandal. Rosie chooses to ignore all rules of social convention as she continues to wear a hat indoors, but nevertheless she is a Chelsea girl so one shall do what one chooses to. Binky apologies to Lucy for being so oblivious to the truth that she was being told, and even Louise pipes up with a ‘semi-grovel’. First time for everything.

We’ve all reached a point now where we bury our heads in our hands as soon as Sam comes on our screens. He meets with Riley for an oh-so-awkward catch up where he continues to explain his disgust with Spenny and how distraught he is that Christiana has chosen Spencer over him – funny that. Riley now knows the perfect way to remove Sam from any situations; by kindly dropping in that Stevie is coming to join them. Right on time, he strolls across the camera, and Sam takes the opportunity to swiftly leave the scene – nice work Riley.

Spencer continues to tackle the dating world in the opposite way to most, sleeping with them first, then taking them out for a romantic dinner. Christiana is his current victim, although not for much longer I would imagine after she kindly announces that she thought he was 30!

Now for a complete plot change, Stephanie and Louise are doing the usual thing that girls do, chatting over a drink or two. Stevie and Andy are spotted at the other side of the bar, wearing some slightly questionable Hawaiian garlands. They join the girls for a drink which turns into a highly flirtatious conversation between Steph and Stevie, with a ‘tour’ of London left on the cards. Stevie! What about Riley?!

Andy's face says it all!
Andy’s face says it all!

Lucy and Riley meet for a business/girl-to-girl chat which is rudely interrupted by Jamie. Much to Lucy’s disapproval, he continues to pest Riley and promises to call her later, even though he doesn’t have her number .. yet. Bless. You can’t blame the guy for trying! Stephanie joins this small intervention and drops the bombshell that she most definitely has a crush on Stevie. Jamie, in his current love situation, encourages her to push forward with Stevie. Smooth moves Jamie, he’ll do anything to worm his way in with Riley. Poor girl, she’s only been on the set 5 minutes.

In other news, Binky goes against the collective wisdom of the girls and meets up with Alex, carrying a large bunch of flowers in her hand. Its clear she has reached the point where enough is enough and she knows why she is here: to throw the flowers on Alex’s feet and to shoot down his grovelling by reminding him that he “should’ve thought about it before sticking your dick in other people.” Mytton’s crying, Binky’s crying but showing real girl power, she turns around and walks away. Go Binks!

Alex and Binky call it quits.. for now.
Alex and Binky call it quits.. for now.

All aboard Stevie’s tour of London! This is a clear reminder as to why he is stars in a reality TV show rather than being a tour guide. A one stop tour, featuring a scenic rooftop, is the perfect spot for Stephanie to reveal her big ploy to get Stevie away from the usual crowd to spend a bit of ‘quality time’ together. Stevie reveals he is single (sounds like Stiley is off the cards then), and leans in for a cheeky smooch. Oh Stevie, we thought you were the good guy!

Stevie! You were meant to be the good guy!
Stevie! You were meant to be the good guy!

Sam being the worst addition to MIC that we’ve had since forever is conveniently sat in perfect proximity to eavesdrop on Andy and Stevie’s conversation. Whilst explaining about the latest Stevie snog, Sam makes it his priority to inform Riley of what he has just heard. At Jamie’s previously planned picnic, Same takes the opportunity to tell Riley which leaves her looking ever so slightly disappointed. However, I’m sure she won’t be down for long if Jamie has anything to do with it! Isn’t that right Jamie? Oh yes, in fact, he’s asking her on a date as we speak. Maybe I should just write the script from now on?!

Made in Chelsea, Series 7 Episode 7 Review

A day later than usual but unfortunately assignments have taken over my life this week. However, there is always time to squeeze in an episode of Made in Chelsea. And what an episode it was! After last week’s slight deflation, this week certainly made up for any lack of juiciness! It’s one of those where your jaw is permanently locked into a shocked position throughout the entire show.

So we start off on the night of Louise’s birthday party, of which she is late too. Her posh pals organised some kind of gig to celebrate her 24 years of life. It would seem that the attention was not so much on Louise though. Despite it being her birthday, Binky and Cheska are interrupted by a certain Spencer Matthews who attempts to ‘sashay’ his way over to speak to Binky. He is soon to realise that this was probably the worst decision he could have made after Binky lays into him about how he has been a bad friend and not stood by her through the whole Alex situation.

Sam tries, once again, to tell Stevie how it is “so hard” to see him with his ex-girlfriend, Riley. But this time, he wastes no time in telling Stevie how he is now also interested in another female (poor girl!), so Stevie definitely doesn’t have to worry about Sam Thompson trying to steal back his girl. As if that was ever going to happen anyway.

On the topic of Riley, she continues to blossom as Lucy’s new intern to the point in which they discuss Jamie and Lucy’s first kiss which is conveniently interrupted by the stud himself. He graces the girls with his presence and a bag full of sweet treats and makes an unconcerted effort to snap up Riley as his new intern. I think the phrase “I will poach her. Like an egg,” was what he used to try and win himself a new companion. Nice work Jamie.

Now we know we can always count on Stephanie with her trademark introductory line, “Hey asshole”, when it comes to greeting Spencer. And this week she certainly didn’t let us down. Cutting back to Louise’s party, she continues to inform him of how she feels disgusted by his actions – to which he felt an appropriate reply would be to invite her to live back with him. This part has to make MIC history. Stephanie wastes no time in immediately turning her back and walking off in the opposite direction. No words were needed. The reaction on Spencer’s face was enough!

MICWK7 2
Yes, those are definitely real tears.

Lucy struggles to hold back her tears when discussing with Jamie how she feels the other girls are ganging up on her. Poor girl, she is only trying to do the best for Binky and she’s being targeted as the bad guy. But there’s no need to panic because Jamie is there with a shoulder to cry on. So much for these two hating each other?!

Meanwhile, much to everyone else’s horror, Binky and Alex are out on a date. He continues to grovel and asks what he can do to try and make it up to her. FOUR times he has cheated. That’s a lot of making up to do Mytton. It’s a good job you’re a Chelsea boy, eh! She begins revealing her list of ‘wants’, starting with presents, holidays, surprises. Wait a second Binks, have you not had enough surprises from Alex over the last few weeks?!

"I want presents, holidays and surprises"
“I want presents, holidays and surprises”

Now it wouldn’t be a true episode of Chelsea without some form of awkward conversation/chat/dinner/date. This week we saw Sam and Spencer sitting, coincidently, around a table for 4 with just the 2 of them supposedly having a catch up. It takes a few minutes for Sam to reveal that he has in fact set up his very own double date with his new fancy girl and her friend. They arrive, both in pastels, with long blonde hair and Spencer already looks guilty. Has he slept with either of them? … Of course he has! We’re not really too sure which one as they both look the same, but nevertheless he has already had some fun with one of them. Sam, once again, is left crestfallen. Your time will come Sam, one day.

Stevie’s birthday is rapidly approaching and Andy, Lucy and Proudlock have obviously got a surprise up their sleeves. And whilst they are busy planning, Jamie meets with Alex to get the low-down on the latest with him and Binky. For once he gives some advice that we all agree with. That he should not get back with Binky as if any more indiscretions are revealed, it will destroy her. AGREED.

Binky later meets with Lucy for what soon turns into a mini showdown. She begins accusing Lucy of getting kicks out of her bad news, to which she replies with a killer line: “Are you afraid of me, or are you afraid of the truth?” Ooooo. This continues and Lucy is accused of being stuck-up and arrogant. Ouch. There’s no wonder that she releases another set of real, human tears. Twice in one episode? It must be serious.

"Are you afraid of me or are you afraid of the truth?"
“Are you afraid of me or are you afraid of the truth?”

I told you this was a juicy episode, and now is where it really starts to live up to its name.

SURPRISE! Stevie’s surprise party is in full swing, thanks to his nearest and dearest in Chelsea. Riley greets him with a handmade card (how sweet) and the cake has a full-blown photo of his baby face on it. Aww! One of the blonde bombshell’s (I couldn’t tell you which one) approaches Sam and Spencer in a rather ‘something huge is about to happen’ kind of way. And so it did. She kindly dropped the news that Spencer’s involvement with Christiana (the other blonde one) was in fact more recently than he thought. The other night to be exact. Straight after they’d been for their double date and Sam had explained his interest in her. UH OH SPENNY! Sam responded in the same way as most of the other girls did once they found out Spencer had cheated on them: drink in the face. Well done Sam. That was probably the best we’ve seen from you all series.

Pretty much straight after the drink-to-the-face scene, Spencer is seen chatting to Alex and Binky. Lucy, armed with Stephanie, Louise and Rosie, approaches the trio with a fairly unimpressed expression across her face. At this point, hearts are racing, palms are getting sweaty as Lucy is about to reveal the ultimate bombshell that Chelsea has seen in a while. Spencer and Alex have just awarded themselves as the biggest, cheating scumbags to ever walk through Chelsea. MASSIVE ORGY. Yes, that’s right. The news is broken that they had an orgy with several other girls on the week that Binky and Alex were on a break. WHAT?! With a little helpful prompting from Lucy, Binky is left to hear the devastating news of Mytton’s antics. He continues to protest that he can’t remember (haven’t heard that one before) but Binky rightly puts him in his place with the moment that we’ve all been waiting for. SLAP! You go girl!

They’ve got some living up to do in next week’s episode. Come on E4, don’t let us down!

Made in Chelsea, Series 7 Episode 6 Review

Well after last week’s antics in Venice, this week’s episode was certainly no show stopper. After we saw Alex stroll out of Binky’s house with a sense of pride written all over his face, there was no need to guess what they had been up to. She’s left laying across her bed with dog Scrumble cuddled in her arms, likely to be deciding whether she’s done the right thing .. Er no Binky.

Riley continues to be the hot topic this week as she’s interviewed, and then appointed, as Lucy’s new intern. She manages to get her new lover Stevie in trouble after he pays her a visit at her new workplace, only to be soon sent in the opposite direction by boss lady, Lucy.

Mummy Felstead isn't impressed with Binky's antics
Mummy Felstead isn’t impressed with Binky’s antics

Binky is not only scared to tell everyone about her naughty antics last night, but especially the one and only Mummy Felstead. They meet for a chat (and champagne) which soon turns into an emotional mother/daughter moment that is soon interrupted by love rat Mytton. From here she moves to a girls get together with Louise and Stephanie (Yay she’s still here!) discussing not only getting back with Alex, but also the new excitement of a netball match. “What the f*ck is netball?” Stephanie howls in her overly American accent. Bless her! The girls had arranged a netball match for that afternoon which was sure to be entertaining in itself!

Andy and Stevie turn up as ‘spectators’ – more like the judges for Chelsea’s next top model as they stand and rate the girls’ legs as if they’re back at primary school. Stephanie won, surprise surprise, closely followed by Riley but that was certainly Stevie’s influence. Alex surprises Binky by turning up to the match. Nice move Mytton, turn up to a place where every girl (apart from Binky) wants to scratch your eyes out and punch you in the face. Nevertheless, he stayed as a spectator and dismissed any sly comments from the girls.

Meanwhile Stephanie tells Lucy about Binky and Alex’s hookup and soppy Sam also strolls into the court. Horrified that Stevie is watching Riley play, he keeps it short and sweet, stated that he expected an apology (is he serious?) and soon left after being shut down by both Stevie and Andy. When will he learn?

Lucy is finally confronted by Binky to explain about her recent night with Alex. Unaware that she already knew (thanks to Stephanie), Lucy is sure to put her point across and comes back with 2 more acts of cheating that are supposedly related to Alex. Uh oh. Binky is determined to have it out with Alex for one last time and arranges to meet him at the weekly Chelsea party after he comes up with some plausible excuse not to explain to her over the phone.

In the meantime, Louise finds herself putting a dark cloud of Lucy’s head as she is asked by new boy Edo who she is. Predictably, it gets back to Lucy and she wastes no time in storming over to confront Louise about what she has just said. Obviously there had to be one shouting match/bitch fight, and this was the time. Lucy yells to Louise that she should be supporting Binky rather than brainwashing her to get back with Alex. Rosie soon steps in which certainly didn’t go down well as Lucy begins yelling at her too. Let’s all just calm down and have a glass of wine, girls. It’s meant to be a party!

That face says it all. Don't mess with Lucy Watson
That face says it all. Don’t mess with Lucy Watson

Alex arrives and Binky takes her chance to speak to him. Much to audience shock, he admits to cheating 3 more times, yes 3. What a scumbag. Hats off to her for holding it together so well, but what’s his excuse? Of course, he blacked out. Oh Alex, just when we thought once was bad enough.

Made in Chelsea Series 7, Episode 4 Review

After last week’s shock revelations of Alex’s cheating scandal, there was no surprise that this week was going to be a tear jerker – get the tissues ready girls!

At what seemed like a slight anti-climax at the beginning of the episode, Binky made the decision to fly to New York for a few days with her Mum and sister. Despite desperately wanting to get through the cheating, heart breaking situation, Binky was sure to flee the city in the hope to clear her head. But don’t worry, she comes back later on in the episode.

Meanwhile, much to audience shock, Louise and Spencer take a nice shopping trip together (yes, just the two of them). The newly reformed BFFs seemed to be getting along just fine, so much so that Spencer even invited his “Porg” (Person of Restricted Growth) to lunch with him and his new love interest, Emma Miller. Louise certainly didn’t hold back when it came to telling Emma the kind of boyfriend Spencer is and the extent of his unfaithful ways. That sure is one way to get your own back!

Now, everyone knows Stevie for his chilled out, laid back kind of personality – he’s not one to get too involved with the weekly Chelsea dramas. However, he found himself in the centre of the ring during this week’s episode. After being the first person to reveal the possibility of Alex’s cheating, and being the first person to supposedly be aware of the female culprit, the rest of the boys made it their responsibility to make Stevie aware that he should have warned Alex that if he was not to own up/explain the rumours to Binky, then Cheska (or any of the other girls) will be more than happy to do so. And as a matter of fact, Alex was confronted by Lucy on her walk home from a bar. Living up to her fiery, don’t-mess-with-me attitude, she was sure to annihilate him and grill him of his actions.

Remember Stephanie Pratt? One of Spencer’s ex-flings. The American one. Well she’s back in London whilst travelling Europe with her muscular, model ‘friend’ (he’s called Eric). Now ever since her and Lucy have become the best of friends, and joined at the hip through the powers of technology, Watson was the first person that she saw after landing in the UK. A minor detail which later opens a whole can of worms, is that nobody is aware of her visit (uh oh, this is only going to end badly). Rosie hosts a black tie ball, featuring Mark Francis and his signature Waltz, which Lucy and Stephanie chose to use as their opportunity to drop the bombshell of her whereabouts. Obviously everyone is at this party, including Spencer and Emma Miller. Dressed in her finest ball gown, she enters the venue with a classic Chelsea one-liner, “Hey ass-hole”. Spencer’s face was a picture. The sheer shock to have a considerable number of ex-girlfriends/flings in the same room was almost too much for him to handle – especially when Stephanie gave him the grilling that she did. Spencer was left gawping, with not a clue in the world where to look, what to say, let alone what to do (first time for everything!)

Stephanie gives Spencer the grilling he deserves
Stephanie gives Spencer the grilling he deserves

Simultaneously, Binky arrives home from New York and finally plucks up the courage to have her dreaded meeting with love-rat, Alex. He mumbles a whole bunch of nothing and begins to weep so it’s left to Binky to get loud, angry and explain how much of a coward he is. “He should be the one grovelling.” It’s hard to not agree with her but it looks as though he is looking for an easy way out. However something tells me this is not the last we’ll see of these two.

Made in Chelsea Series 7, Episode 3 Review

So after last week’s bland(ish) plot line, this week certainly cranked it up a notch. It’s London Fashion Week and Mark Francis is in his element. Much to his despair, Binky’s lack of interest and enthusiasm towards fashion was definitely put to the test whilst watching the model’s parade up and down the cat walk – one of which was Emma Miller, last week’s fresh face and Spencer’s new love interest.

Binky, Louise and Mark Francis at London Fashion Week
Binky, Louise and Mark Francis at London Fashion Week

Everyone’s favourite, Binky’s Mum Jane, met up for a secret coffee and ‘catch up’ to discuss the cheating rumours. Whilst Binky was unaware of this, her and Louise also met up for coffee to discuss last week’s most exciting part, the single’s dinner party. It would appear that Chelsea’s newest dating partners are soon to be Robbo and Louise (that’s if Alex and Binky have their way).

Meanwhile Spencer, a man of many good ideas (hmm), organised a double date with Emma, Jamie, and Emma’s friend Victoria Gucci (yes, some relation of the founder of Gucci but far too complex to explain). To be expected, this turned out to be somewhat awkward and disastrous, but nevertheless, Jamie turned up to Lucy’s birthday party with an unexpected plus one the next day (Victoria) and Spencer took Emma for a more sophisticated meal for two. This also backfrired on Spenny after confessing his true feelings for Emma led to the ultimate pie on her behalf – I’m not sure if Spencer has ever been rejected in such a hostile situation!

So as Binky and Alex push past all the cheating rumours and their matchmaking skills are in full swing with Louise and Robbo, Cheska is informed of some shocking information which is set to break Binky and Alex apart forever. Before the cosy nights of double dates are under-way, Cheska struggles to find a way to tell Binky the news that is sure to break her heart. Uh oh, we all know what this is going to be…

…Yes, you’ve got it, he’s a cheat. Inside information meant that Cheska was able to find out who the girl was and where exactly this happened. And where better to drop the bombshell than at Lucy’s birthday party. The dreaded “Can I talk to you in private?” made an appearance and Binky instantly broke down. But can we blame her? Alex was the trustworthy one, the one we had our hopes up for. In true Chelsea fashion, it didn’t take long before Alex was on the scene and questioned why his girlfriend was beside herself. Is he stupid? Obviously he knows what is the matter.

Well it didn’t take long for him to come clean (almost) and try to excuse himself by stating that he has had nights where he ‘doesn’t remember anything’. He was soon to clear Cheska from the scene and attempted to comfort Binky – of which she was having none of it (you go, girl!) As usual, a dramatic ending is always necessary and we can always count on Binky with her one- liners. Even in a time of frustration, upset and anger she manages to come out with, “You don’t remember putting your dick in someone else?”

It takes a lot to compose yourself as well as Binky did, so it continues to raise the question, how could you Alex? Who would cheat on Binky?

It’s back! Made in Chelsea returns to our screens for a SEVENTH series

With Made in Chelsea (or MIC to most) being probably my favourite reality TV show, I took up the idea of blogging an episode review each week. Partly for anyone that missed it, and partly (actually mostly) because it means I get to re-watch each episode!

So since Jamie whisked Lucy away in a horse and carriage at the end of the last series, just four months ago, so much seems to have gone down in the posh ends of London. With few newbies on the scene, it looks as if MIC has returned to top posh form for it’s seventh series. Can you believe it? SEVENTH series!

Any episode that has Lucy Watson parading down King’s Road in slow motion, whilst Jamie Laing emerges from his goose-gown bed has got potential. As she mastered the strut and pout, it is clear from the outset that this is going to be a drama-filled series.

Lucy masters the strut and pout
Lucy masters the strut and pout

Spencer was living up to his arrogant reputation whilst partaking in, what posh people do best, offroading in Range Rovers across the countryside. And although we got a sneak peak at the end of the last series, it would seem that Spencer and Andy are now best buds, despite the ongoing Louise dramas.

Putting aside Louise’s interesting take on a leather biker jacket, it transpired that Jamie had confessed his love to every girl he saw whilst in Miami. Take note – this was one week, I repeat ONE week after he made the grand gesture with Lucy. Someone needs to teach this guy the meaning of the word love.

So whilst Jamie was busy dropping “L-Bombs” (code word for L O V E), unfortunately it was not the case for Binky and Alex. Quite possibly my favourite couple, yet they still haven’t managed to utter the immortal words to each other, despite practically living together and the endless holiday snaps from their recent trip to Goa. But wait, what are these rumours I hear that Alex has been up to no good? The most recent love scandal of this series obviously was unveiled in episode one, but much to the audience’s horror. Surely Alex wouldn’t do that?

Obviously this all came to the fore in an ultimate ‘party showdown’, themed this week around a Game of Thrones inspired apparel. The episode’s final fifteen minutes showed the cast in their usual awkwardly forced conversations and it certainly didn’t disappoint after the word had got out about Alex supposedly cheating.

It’s hard to believe that a show based around the extravagant lives of half-liked twenty-year-olds is in it’s seventh series, but nevertheless we sure do have our Monday night entertainment back. Yeah boi!
